Above the Light—Taiwanese Psalms

The great, eternal mystery, sung on earth without end

Eternal psalms: featuring timeless hymns such as “Holy, Holy, Holy” (聖哉、聖哉、聖哉) and “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” (至好朋友就是耶穌)

Pure heavenly voices: including both a cappella performances and versions with solemn pipe organ accompaniment

“Above the Light” is Taipei Chamber Singers’ first album devoted to Taiwanese church hymns. It features timeless and beautiful hymns including “What a Friend We Have in Jesus,” “My Heart Rejoices, the Lord Stands Beside Me” (我心大歡喜、主站身邊), “The Saviour’s Loving Voice” (救主愛疼的聲), and “Holy, Holy, Holy.” Alongside pure a cappella singing, the choir collaborates with renowned U.S.-trained organist Dr. Yun Fen Chen, uniting flawless voices with the majesty of the pipe organ: eternal psalms and pure, heavenly voices, singing a feeling that never ceases.
