The 3rd Sing for Love Choral Composition Competition (2022)

Write Down Your Hopes for Love, Sing Your Blessings for Society

Using music as a bridge to convey the ideals of public service and charity, and answering the heartfelt hope of 林曼麗, Chair of the National Culture and Arts Foundation, that Taiwan would see a richer body of song composition, the first Sing for Love Choral and Solo Song Composition Competition was launched in 2018 on the initiative of Mr. 王光明, Past District Governor of Rotary International District 3521. It places Rotary’s ideals of public service and charity at the heart of artistic creation, conveying kindness and care through beautiful songs and fostering friendship and harmony through song.

The 3rd Sing for Love Choral Composition Competition is jointly supported by Mr. 張順立, former President of the Friends of the National Culture and Arts Foundation; Ms. 李澤汝, District Governor of Rotary International District 3521; and Mr. 王光明, Past District Governor of Rotary International District 3521, and is organized on their behalf by Taipei Chamber Singers. Its aims are to discover talented lyricists and composers, reward outstanding works, and provide quality channels for performance and promotion so that the songs will be widely sung. Aspiring entrants are invited to let imagination bring strength, realize their creative ideas, and devote themselves to writing music.
