2017 Basic Music Theory Class: Spring Enrollment Now Open

Learning music theory is one way to get to know music. This spring, TCS is launching a Basic Music Theory Class. With professional teaching and a step-by-step curriculum, music theory no longer feels distant; instead it connects you with music and enriches the spirit. Topics include score reading, rhythm exercises, and musical terms, among others.

Class times: (you may choose more than one; the class will open in the time slot with the most registrations)

[Class A]: Mon 11:00-12:00

Dates: 5/08, 5/15, 5/22, 6/5, 6/12, 7/3, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31

[Class B]: Tue 12:00-13:00

Dates: 5/02, 5/09, 5/16, 5/23, 6/06, 6/13, 7/4, 7/11, 7/18, 7/25

[Class C]: Thu 11:00-12:00

Dates: 5/04, 5/11, 5/18, 5/25, 6/1, 6/8, 6/15, 7/6, 7/13, 7/20

Teacher: 鍾慧敏 (M.M. in Voice, Department of Music, University of Taipei; more than 10 years of teaching experience)

Location: 3F, No. 159, Sec. 1, Dunhua S. Rd., Da’an Dist., Taipei City (MRT Zhongxiao Dunhua Station, Exit 8)

Fee: TCS choir members NT$1800 for 10 lessons; non-members NT$2200 for 10 lessons
