!! Congratulations !!

TCS’s latest album, YIN—An Unlimited Passage (䪩—無設限的詩歌紀行),

has won four awards at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, making it the night’s biggest winner!

TCS’s latest release, the all-original album YIN—An Unlimited Passage, won four major awards at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music: [Best Performance: Taipei Chamber Singers], [Best Album Producer: Yun-Hung Chen], [Best Composition: Hwang Long Pan, “The Sleepwalker” (夢遊女)], and [Best Recording: 楊敏奇]. It is the most awards ever won by a single album since the Golden Melody Awards added art music categories in 2007!

“The poetic singing of the Taipei Chamber Singers is captivating and has reached a level of sheer mastery. Breaking free of conventional melodic exposition, it creates the imagination of a third space.” —Jury of the 32nd Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, citation for [Best Performance]

Drawing on contemporary poetry, the Book of Songs (Shijing), and the Bible, YIN—An Unlimited Passage brings contemporary thought together with ancient spiritual essence. Through works commissioned from composers, it builds a panoramic vision spanning thousands of years—from the great wisdom of the three-thousand-year-old Book of Songs and the Bible, to the vast revelations of the Mongolian steppe, to the feelings and realities of modern life as captured by contemporary poets—creating a thought-provoking journey through time and space.
