黃雅綾

Performance Diploma, Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison, France. 黃雅綾 began studying percussion as a child under 徐伯年 and later studied with Ju Tzong-Ching, 鄭翔夫 and 吳思珊. In September 2002, 黃雅綾 went to the Conservatoire de Rueil-Malmaison in France to pursue the percussion performance diploma, studying with Gaston Sylvestre and learning Iranian hand drum with François Bedel. In April of the following year, two concerts in the conservatoire’s recital hall earned the unanimous award of the First Prize Diploma in Chamber Music, together with the First Prize at the superior level, awarded unanimously with the jury’s congratulations, and the Prize at the excellence level, awarded unanimously. While in France, 黃雅綾 performed contemporary percussion works on many occasions, building a foundation in the interpretation of contemporary percussion repertoire. Since 2023, 黃雅綾 has been Principal Timpani of the New Arts Orchestra (新藝術管弦樂團). 黃雅綾 currently teaches in the Department of Music at Shih Chien University, the music programs of Fuxing Elementary School and Guting Elementary School in Taipei, the wind band program of Taipei Municipal Dongshan Junior High School, and the percussion ensemble of Juguang Elementary School in New Taipei City.
