簡敏卉

Majoring in double bass, 簡敏卉 placed first nationwide in admission to both the Department of Music at National Taiwan Normal University and the Department of Music at Taipei National University of the Arts, and graduated from the Department of Music at National Taiwan Normal University, having studied with 陳士斌, 武崢, and 周春祥.

簡敏卉 was invited as a New Aspect Art rising artist and gave a solo performance at the Kaohsiung Cultural Center, and at the invitation of Counterpoint Ensemble presented several solo salon recitals in the lobby of the Pingtung Performing Arts Center. Since graduating, 簡敏卉 has long performed as an extra double bassist with major orchestras such as the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra and the Kaohsiung Chinese Orchestra, appearing in concert halls across the country.

簡敏卉 has been invited many times to serve on the string jury for the joint admission examination of senior high school music programs in southern Taiwan, and in addition to performing is dedicated to music education.
