Miao Zhu Huang Huang, Miao Zhu (Choreography)

By chance, I once took part in creating movement for a choir, and it sparked my passion for choreography. I have loved beautiful dance since I was a child and often entered dance competitions in school; in my working life I have also had hands-on experience in choreography and program design. Being able to bring this to choral performance, which I love, makes me truly happy. The ideas behind choral movement come to life on stage through conversations with the conductor and the dedicated practice of the singers, and I hope they help audiences feel the world of each song more deeply!

In recent years I have had the honor of creating movement for several choirs, and in the creative choral competitions held by the Taiwan Choral Music Center, our performances have several times won the award for Best Stage Presentation. This recognition tells me I am heading in the right direction in choreographing for choirs. In the second half of my life, this is truly a beautiful stage! I love choral music! I enjoy choreographing!
