Bella Generation: About TCS Women’s Choir 2

For many years, the affiliated choirs of Taipei Chamber Singers have played a key role in promoting choral singing. They regularly step out into all kinds of everyday spaces to share life’s experiences through music and, drawing on the voices of this land, hope to use the truth, goodness and beauty of music to express their care for society and give back to it, and to find joy and fulfillment in singing together.

Founded in 2013 as the third affiliated choir of Taipei Chamber Singers, TCS Women’s Choir 2 is made up of women who love music. Eager learners, they have kept moving forward on the path of the fine arts since the choir’s founding. Under conductor 鄭有席, they have carried their warm voices to stages large and small in Taiwan and abroad. In 2017 they won the Gold Award and overall championship at the 6th Singapore International Chinese Choral Festival and performed at the National Concert Hall, adding a brilliant new page to the choir’s story.

Through steady rehearsal and growing stage experience, TCS Women’s Choir 2 has gradually shaped its own singing style. With colorful and varied choral music combined with movement and staging, the choir shines with confidence in song, letting audiences feel the energy and passion with which Taiwanese women pursue a life in the arts, and sharing the joy of healthy, happy singing!
