張芸瑄

A native of Taichung, 張芸瑄 graduated from the music programs of Guangfu Elementary School, Shuang Shih Junior High School and National Taichung Second Senior High School, and from the Department of Music at National Taiwan Normal University. 張芸瑄 is now in the performance track of the university's master's program in music, majoring in trombone under Professor 張釗銘.

張芸瑄 performs actively in many settings, including chamber music, wind bands, symphony orchestras and jazz bands. As an undergraduate, 張芸瑄 toured Japan and Beijing with the China Youth Corps Youth Lion Wind Band, and performed Rimsky-Korsakov's Trombone Concerto with the National Taiwan Normal University Band at the Beigang Cultural Center in Yunlin County.

Notable performances include, in 2019, “Swan Lake” with the Taichung Symphony Orchestra and the St. Petersburg Ballet of Russia in the Grand Theater of the National Taichung Theater; Mendelssohn's oratorio “St. Paul” with the Sunshine Taipei Symphony Orchestra at the National Concert Hall; “A Midsummer Night's Overture: Classic Beethoven” with the Sunshine Taipei Youth Symphony Orchestra at the KHS Concert Hall in Luzhou; and “War Series: Europe” with Yi Sheng Wind Ensemble at KHS in Luzhou. In 2018, 張芸瑄 performed Fauré's “Requiem” and Bruckner's “Te Deum” with the Sunshine Taipei Symphony Orchestra at the National Concert Hall, and appeared with the NTNU Jazz Band at the Taichung Jazz Festival and at the Taipei congress of AICA, the International Association of Art Critics.
