陳妍蓉

陳妍蓉 holds a Master of Music (Künstlerischer Master) in cello performance from the Berlin University of the Arts, where 陳妍蓉 studied with Professor Markus Nyikos and remains the only Taiwanese musician ever admitted to and graduated from the school’s cello class. 陳妍蓉 studied chamber music with Berlin Philharmonic violist Ulrich Knörzer and has extensive performing experience, having been invited many times during studies in Berlin to perform in Taiwanese music concerts presented by the Taipei Representative Office in Germany.

At the final examination, the jury, including Professor Jens Peter Maintz, praised 陳妍蓉 for “a rich and refined musicality and an exceptionally keen sensitivity to music.”

陳妍蓉 has served as assistant principal cello of the Taipei Wan-Sheng Orchestra and as an extra player with the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra, and is currently an adjunct lecturer in cello in the Department of Music at Tainan National University of the Arts.
