Born in Germany, Florian Sievers began his singing career as a treble in the Uetersen Boys’ Choir. He went on to study at the University of Music and Theatre “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig with Berthold Schmid, graduating with distinction in 2021.

A sought-after soloist in Germany, Sievers has quickly made his mark on the international stage. In addition, Sievers will sing the role of the Evangelist in Bach’s St John Passion in Berlin and Paris with the RIAS Kammerchor, the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, and conductor Justin Doyle.

Numerous radio broadcasts, CDs, and video recordings, ranging from the Baroque to contemporary opera, reflect Sievers’s active artistic work and wide repertoire. Recordings to be released in 2024 include Bach cantatas, Louis Spohr’s oratorio Des Heilands letzte Stunden, and Heinrich Schütz’s Christmas Oratorio.
