Nai-Chia Wang began studying piano at the age of three, with teachers including 謝秋月, 林得恩, 徐頌仁 and 諸大明. The pianist Ruth Slenczynska once praised Wang as having “astonishing sight-reading ability—a rare accompanist.” Wang currently teaches in several music programs and is collaborative pianist for Taipei Chamber Singers, the Mu-Lou Male Choir, the Taipei Philharmonic Opera Studio, the New Festival Choir and the Hsien-Sung Choir.
Highly active on the music scene in recent years, Wang has built up extensive performing experience and has been invited many times to perform at Bach festivals and international choral festivals. With Taipei Chamber Singers, Wang recorded the albums LISTENING, Utmost Utterance of the Time, Singing the Island from Afar (遙唱島嶼) and YIN—An Unlimited Passage, which were nominated for and won Golden Melody Awards. With the Mu-Lou Male Choir, Wang recorded Mu Se III: In Praise of Love (木色Ⅲ-愛的禮讚), winner of the Golden Melody Award for Best Art Music Album, as well as A Dialogue Between Literature and Music, Mu Se 2 and The Wind Across the Island.
