I Love Taiwan

Sound, light and image without limits, telling of the unique vitality of Taiwan’s people and culture
Following Music Unlimited VI – “Wu,” which was shortlisted among the year’s top 15 works for the 12th Taishin Arts Award, the Taipei Chamber Singers presents in 2015 an all-new large-scale poem chronicling the people and culture of Taiwan: Music Unlimited 8 – “I Love Taiwan.”
Bringing together brand-new commissioned works by a number of Taiwan’s finest composers, the production also invites distinguished photographer Chang Zhi Chen and light artist Zhen Wei Deng into a cross-disciplinary collaboration. With fresh contemporary thinking, it weaves together beloved Taiwanese folk songs, campus folk songs and popular songs, following the thread of “a day in Taiwan.” At each hour and scene, voices, images and light combine in unlimited imagination to portray the many faces of contemporary Taiwanese life, opening a new milestone for contemporary Eastern choral art!
