THIRTY SHARP

Celebrating the milestone of its thirtieth anniversary, the Taipei Chamber Singers raises a toast to itself with “THIRTY SHARP”! Drawing on every highlight of its past as a foundation, the concert signals that the choir, now a mature artist, will step outside its comfort zone and move forward into the unknown.

For thirty years, the Taipei Chamber Singers has devoted itself to one thing: it exists to sing — commissioning fine works, encouraging fine songs, sharing fine voices, and publishing fine music. This concert brings together singers who have been part of the choir over the past thirty years to revisit signature repertoire from each stage of its history: its founding concerts, major international competitions, tours of Europe and the United States, the Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music, and its transformation into a pioneer of contemporary choral music. Together with our audience, we look back on past glories and ahead to the future. In this special year, join us in retracing thirty years of the Taipei Chamber Singers and witness the beginning of our next journey!
